“Girls do not dress for boys. They dress for themselves and, of course, each other. If girls dressed for boys they’d just walk around naked at all times.”
If I had to count the amount of time I’ve been questioned about where I was really going by boyfriends and parents alike we would be here all day. I have no idea why it takes me 30 minutes to get ready for a date and 30 years to get ready to go to brunch with friends. I mean come on, it’s not like I’m trying to win over their physical love and affection with my boyfriend jeans and sequence turbans. So what is it? I have officially chalked it over to the fact that all of my friends are walking runways and I NEVER want to get that “you can’t sit with us look”. Shallow, maybe so but at least I’m honest. My friends inspire me to go hard to care more, I mean what else are they here for? Ironically I’m pretty sure they could care less if I showed up in a moomoo and head scarf. We never compete with each other we eat with each other; we just make sure we all bring our fine china.
Here’s what I wore to a recent Sunday Brunch Outing with the girls.

In light of 2 Chains on the B.E.T 2013 award show and his horrible rendition of “find the difference between the fringe and the dread “I thought it was imperative to show you fringe done right lol. I am a advocate for fringe and tassels, always will be. Usually we are discouraged to try new things when celebrities ruin it. Literally, like its dead. We cannot fall victim. Add your own twist breathe new life into a trend. Make it your own.
